Katerina La Greca & Friends

Katerina la Greca productions are a multi-faceted as well as fascinating game between song, guitar and dance, unified by the aim of presenting and inquiring into the origin, development and spontaneity of flamenco out of improvisation. Are you planning a private party? Are you organizing a company event, festival or gala event? We would be happy to make you an individual offer.

FlamenCaOs CONnexion

FlamenCaOs CONnexion NaKa is a contemporary flamenco dance theater duo, founded in late 2016 by the dancers Katerina la Greca and Nati Blanco. Our aim is a multidisciplinary dialogue and conversation that includes and connects contemporary flamenco, dance theater and performance art.

The duo uses new ways to circumvent the traditional choreographic and musical structures of flamenco, questioning the limits of traditional flamenco and confronting it with its own restrictions. It combines theoretical and practical aspects of collaboration in order to create and explore new dance possibilities. It connects the different characters of each of the dancers highlighting their opposition in order to expand their creative perspectives.

Katerina la Greca & Zarbang Ensemble

Zarbang

The project is named after the river “Aras”, which flows between Iran and Azerbaijan. The music contains elements of Sufi and older Iranian rhythms, with the frame drum Daf ecstatic and trance-like in the center. The performance and the dance bridges the gap between the two.
